Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Twin Mirrora psychological thriller which marks the publisher’s debut in the field of narrative-based adventure games. Developed by the studio DONTNOD Entertainmentknown for Life is StrangeTwin Mirror will be an experience shaped by the player himself, with a dynamic narrative at the center of which is a tormented hero who must navigate the labyrinth built by the harsh reality of Basswood, West Virginia, and his own demons.
Players will step into his role Sat., a 33-year-old investigative journalist who tries to get over a painful breakup by returning home to attend the funeral of an old friend. Sam will wake up one day in his motel room, his shirt covered in blood, with no memory of the night before. The adventure begins with his decision to investigate the events to discover the truth, being endowed only with the power of his own mind. Twin Mirror allows players to explore Sam’s memories, to shape his investigation in a unique and personal way. The player will have to take a series of particularly difficult decisionseach of these taking him closer to the truth and discovering his own place in the world.
Twin Mirror will be released in 2019in versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (digitally via Steam).
