Epic Games announced that the Android version of the extremely popular Fortnite: Battle Royale to be released this summer. The official unveiling was followed by a series of rumors related to a possible partnership with Samsungthrough which the game, in its version for Android, would benefit from a period of exclusivity for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 terminalsthe announcement to be made on August 9with the official presentation of this new smartphone.
The XDA community went further, obtaining, through data mining the API behind an Epic Games account (required to play Fortnite, regardless of platform), even more detailed information about the minimum specifications that the Android edition of the game will run on. Thus, according to the data obtained by XDA, the minimum “system requirements” to be able to run Fortnite on Android are as follows:
OS: Android 5.0 Lollipop 64-bit or later
• RAM memory: 3GB or more
GPU: Adreno 530 or better, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or better
This list of specifications gives a much clearer picture of the devices needed to run properly Fortnite: Battle Royale on Androidany relatively modern device, at least based on chips Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8895 then it can be used to play the title from Epic Games.
