On the occasion of Gamescom 2018, those from Focus Home Interactive launched a new extended trailer for Call of Cthulhupresenting, through it, a short gameplay demo from the title made by Cyanide studio.
The game Call of Cthulhu will be strongly influenced by the writings of the famous horror author HP Lovecraft and will address a combination of genres: investigative adventure with RPG elements, psychological horror and mechanics of stealthall rendered from a first person perspective.
Players will embody the Edward Piercewar veteran and private detective in Boston in the 1920s. He will investigate the deaths of an artist – Sarah Hawkins – and her family, which took place on Darkwater Island, a mysterious isolated island. What at first seems like a routine investigation hides a great secret, the evil deity Cthulhu preparing to return to life.
Call of Cthulhu will be released on October 30, 2018in versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
