Those from CD Projekt were present at Gamescom 2018, where, behind closed doors, they presented to the specialized press and partners, an extended gameplay demo from Cyberpunk 2077. Well, less than a week after the German event ended, the Polish studio decided to make this gameplay demo public, the clip below showing over 48 minutes of their first person RPG. The makers describe the game as a open world first person RPG, players will take on the role of V, a kind of mercenary who offers his services to the wealthy in Night City. The game will be approached at first person, but there are moments when the action will be viewed from a third person perspective: during the cinematic sequences or when V is driving a car. Players will also be able to choose the gender of the main character.
The RPG system will be based on the standard features for such a game, such as Strength, constitutionally, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech or Cool, and the decisions made by the player will have a severe impact on the further development of the game. The gameplay will be familiar to fans of shooters, the producers promise that there will be battles against imposing boshi.
Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with no details yet given about a possible release date.
