Borderlands 2 will benefit from a VR version, expected in the winter

Gearbox Software has revealed Borderlands 2 VRan edition of the game specially adapted for the virtual reality kit PlayStation VR of those from Sony. Developed by Gearbox Studios itself, Borderlands 2 VR will bring the entire experience of shooting and looting from the original game, approachable from the perspective of the four character classes buzzer, Commandos, Gunzerker and Assassineach with their own fighting styles and abilities.

In addition, the VR edition of Borderlands 2 will also include a series of novelties, such as the ability to slow down the passage of time in certain situations, skill called pompous Bad Ass Mega Fun Time by the producers. In terms of moving through the game environment, Borderlands 2 VR players will have both control schemes specific to VR titles at their disposal: either teleporting from place to placeeither free movement in spacethe game thus adapting to everyone’s preferences.

Also, the vehicles in the game will be driven in first person modeacceleration, braking and turns to be controlled by means of the analog sticks on the controllers, while the place where the weapons mounted on the vehicle aim will be able to be determined with the help of the movements of the VR headset itself.

However, unlike the non-VR edition of the game, Borderlands 2 VR will not include a multiplayer component, this version being designed to tackle only in single player mode.

Borderlands 2 VR to be released on December 14, 2018exclusively for PlayStation VR (PS4).
