Mortal Kombat X is a title that looks very attractive and will attract fans of the series with the same incredibly aggressive and bloody content.
There are only a few months until April 14, the release date of the new Mortal Kombat X for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. To try to motivate us to pre-order, the makers of this long-awaited title have created another trailer.
Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the upcoming Mortal Kombat X doesn’t seem to stray too far from the recipe for old games. At least that’s what we see from the series of trailers released online. In the latest gameplay sequence, captured in the clip below, we get a better look at Kung Lao and Kitana. We are also introduced to Goro for the first time, the four-handed mastodon that you can only unlock by pre-order.
Mortal Kombat X will be the tenth game in the series and one that NetherRealm has been working on for several years. It is the first next-gen iteration of the franchise and introduces an amalgam of new gameplay elements combined in a way inspired by cinematic presentations. The brutal part of the equation will not be missing, and the online part will be a vital component to properly appreciate the developers’ efforts. For the first time in a Mortal Kombat game, there will be several variations of each character, and each variation will have a significant impact on the strategy you will be able to adopt and the style of play it will be capable of.
